552 Park Drive

Claimed as the oldest house on the street and built in 1916, the owners are proud to present this fact upon entering their lovely home on Park Drive. With a wide front porch that takes one back to the antebellum days outside, and a cozy, modern interior this house makes one want to cuddle up to the fireplace with a cup of hot cider.

The owners gutted the home in 2023, while trying to keep some of the antique charm. They added a rear addition and shed dormer to the front, while also adding a detached garage with a second floor apartment.

The kitchen is the owners’ favorite spot in the house. It is open and inviting. You can enjoy your meals while being connected to the back yard, and the front room all at once.

These neighbors are just a short walk from Piedmont Park, the Beltline and the bars and restaurants on the main street - one of the main things most of us love about living in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood!

Directions

From the corner of North Highland and Virginia Ave, head west on Virginia Avenue. Turn right onto Park Dr. Cross over Monroe Dr and 552 will be the on your right, close to Orme Circle. This is about a 5 min drive (1.1 miles).
